This autumn, our English Debate Team competed in the Saitama Prefectural HEnDA Tournament for the first time in our school’s history. Debating whether Japan should eliminate all tariffs on imported rice, our students researched, built arguments with evidence, and defended their ideas in English against strong teams. We are proud of their courage. This is only the beginning. Next year, we will start preparing earlier, hold regular practice rounds, and welcome more students to join. We look forward to returning stronger.
